Organized by NGO AADHAAR Association under its Capgemini-supported STE(A)M Tinkering\, Coding and Robotics Program\, the event encouraged students to explore scientific concepts through the powerful medium of theatre. \nThe competition served as a vibrant platform for experiential learning\, enabling students to express scientific ideas and social concerns through engaging dramatized performances that promoted innovation\, critical thinking\, and teamwork. \nThe event was graced by Mrs. Neelam\, Principal\, Upper Primary School\, Gejha\, Noida and witnessed enthusiastic participation from government schools across Delhi and Noida. A total of 15 teams took part\, presenting thought-provoking plays on themes such as the impact of social media\, “Vigyaan Har Kadam Par”\, air pollution\, ‘Khamoshi ki awaaj’ and India’s space mission Chandrayaan-2\, among others. \nThe successful organization of the event was made possible with the support of Dr. Rajeev\, Principal of Gautam Buddha Balak Inter College\, along with the institution’s staff and the committed team of AADHAAR Association. \nSTE(A)M Natya Manch concluded on a high note\, celebrating young minds who brought science to life on stage and reinforcing the importance of creative approaches in modern education.

SUMMARY:AADHAAR’s Community Impact Initiative: "Colour the Classroom" in Mumbai
DESCRIPTION:On 27th September\, 2025 we proudly carried out its “Colour the Classroom” initiative at Chakala BMC School in Andheri\, Mumbai. This meaningful event was made possible through a collaborative effort with Saint-Gobain\, the Indo-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IFCCI)\, and with the valued support of the Education Department of Mumbai\, who graciously granted us permission for this initiative. \nThe primary objective of “Colour the Classroom” was to revitalize learning spaces and foster a more stimulating and engaging environment for students. We believe that a vibrant and welcoming classroom can significantly impact a child’s enthusiasm for learning and overall well-being. \nThrough the collective efforts of volunteers from Aadhaar Association\, Saint-Gobain\, and IFCCI\, the classrooms were transformed with fresh coats of colour\, creative visuals\, and positive energy. These enhancements not only uplifted the physical surroundings but also symbolized our ongoing commitment to community development and educational support. \nWe extend our sincere gratitude to Saint-Gobain and IFCCI for their enthusiastic partnership and continued support. The delegation also visited AADHAAR’s Digital Literacy Center\, where they got a glimpse of the work being done to build foundational digital skills in underserved communities. \nLater in the day\, we were privileged to engage in a more in-depth interaction with Lucie Tauriens\, Global Head of Digital Inclusion at Capgemini\, \nWhat started as a round of introductions soon evolved into a rich exchange of stories\, insights\, and shared aspirations. For the first time ever\, teams comprising students from government schools stepped onto a national platform traditionally dominated by privileged institutions — and they didn’t just participate; they made their presence felt. \nUnder the guidance of AADHAAR Association and SRF Foundation\, and after months of hands-on training at the STE(A)M Lab\, Capgemini Center of Excellence in Skilling\, NSEZ these young minds developed a real-world solution that impressed judges and audiences alike: \nAI-Powered Robotic Waste Management and Sorting System — a practical\, scalable innovation aimed at addressing one of the world’s most urgent environmental challenges. \nAchievements Beyond the Scoreboard \nWhile only seven teams advanced to the Nationals\, both of our teams secured a position in the Top 10 out of 27 participating teams — a remarkable feat for first-time competitors. \nBut more than rankings\, this journey was about transformation. \nThe True Impact: Confidence\, Voice\, and Vision \nFor many students\, this was their first time presenting on a public stage\, speaking to expert judges\, and defending their work in front of a crowd. DESCRIPTION:On July 8\, 2025\, Aadhaar Association organized a POCSO Awareness Training Session at the Capgemini Center of Excellence in Skilling\, Noida\, in collaboration with the Martha Farrell Foundation. \nThe session brought together 33 participants — including Aadhaar mentors and government school teachers from Noida and Delhi — to deepen their understanding of child sexual abuse\, early warning signs\, and legal reporting under the POCSO Act\, 2012. \nParticipants openly shared their fears and expectations at the start of the session — concerns about reporting\, facing backlash\, and addressing such sensitive topics. By the end\, many expressed feeling clearer\, more confident\, and equipped to respond appropriately and sensitively. \nLed by expert facilitators Ms. Samiksha Jha and Ms. Samya Siddiqui\, the training included real-life case discussions and practical tools to help create safer\, more supportive school environments. \nAt Aadhaar\, we believe prevention begins with awareness — and empowered educators are key to child protection.

The visit served as a hands-on review of the project’s progress and a chance to engage directly with our dedicated team working on the ground. \nThe visit provided an opportunity to assess the progress of the project firsthand and engage directly with our on-ground team. Mr. Singh’s presence was a strong motivator for our staff\, reinforcing our shared vision of empowering girls through access to STE(A)M education. \nWe are pleased to report that the project is advancing well. Designed to be engaging and accessible\, the space aims to simplify complex scientific concepts for young learners and the general public alike. \nDuring the ceremony\, senior officials from Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) emphasized the importance of science communication and the role such initiatives play in fostering interest in STE(A)M education. The newly refurbished gallery stands as a national resource to inspire curiosity and build awareness about the vital role of nuclear science in societal progress. \nFor the students\, the experience was both educational and inspiring. The hands-on exhibits\, immersive displays\, and real-world applications of science provided a powerful extension of classroom learning. Many students expressed newfound interest in scientific careers\, particularly in space science\, physics\, and energy research. \nThe Aadhaar team extends its sincere thanks to the National Science Centre for their warm hospitality\, to NPCIL for their continued investment in science outreach\, and to the staff of Junior High School\, Gejha for supporting student participation. \nThis visit reflects Aadhaar’s ongoing commitment to creating impactful learning opportunities that spark curiosity and connect students to the possibilities of science in shaping the future.

So\, we rolled out a red carpet for innovation and screened the tech-powered animated marvel ‘𝗕𝗶𝗴 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗼 𝟲’ for our students across partner schools. \nBut this wasn’t just movie time. It was a mission: spark genius. \nWhat followed was:\n🔹 Electric discussions on real-world tech\n🔹 A quiz that turned students into mini-innovators\n🔹 Honest reflections\, wild ideas\, and fresh perspectives\n🔹 Teachers jumping in with equal excitement — proving learning truly knows no age \nFrom AI-powered heroes to futuristic healthcare bots\, our students saw how technology becomes powerful when driven by purpose and empathy. \nAnd the message stuck: “𝗔𝗻𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗱𝗲. SUMMARY:POCSO Awareness Sessions: Building Safe Spaces for Young Innovators
DESCRIPTION:At Aadhaar\, we believe that innovation begins with safety. Before young minds can explore science\, technology\, engineering\, arts\, and mathematics (STE(A)M)\, they must first feel protected\, respected\, and heard. That’s why we’ve made it a priority to create environments where learning is rooted in trust. \nAs part of this mission\, we recently partnered with the Martha Farrell Foundation (MFF) to conduct a series of awareness sessions under their Online Training Module focused on the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act\, 2012. These sessions were held across government schools in Delhi over the span of a few weeks. \nWhat unfolded was more than just a training—it was a powerful opportunity for dialogue. For many students\, it was the first time they felt safe to speak openly about personal boundaries\, safety\, and responsibility. One girl asked\, “If something happens to a friend\, can I report it for them?”—a simple question that reflected deep engagement and empathy. \nImportantly\, boys participated actively too seeking to understand how they could be allies\, support their peers\, and challenge harmful norms. Teachers also found value in the sessions\, sharing that they now feel more equipped to safeguard and guide their students. \nFor us\, this initiative wasn’t just a one-time intervention—it was a step toward making protection a core pillar of education. Because before students can build their futures\, they must feel secure in their present. \nWe’re proud of this collaboration\, and more importantly\, we’re committed to continuing this essential work. DESCRIPTION:Organized by: Avishkaar Company\nTraining Duration: 6 Days\nDates: March 26 – April 3\, 2025\nTotal Training Hours: 9 Hours\nFacilitated by: Aadhaar Association \nOverview \nAadhaar Association successfully participated in a six-day intensive Robotics Training Program conducted by Avishkaar Company\, aimed at building technical capacity in the fields of robotics\, sensor integration\, and artificial intelligence. \nThe program provided a blend of theoretical knowledge and hands-on activities\, empowering participants to design\, build\, and control robotic systems using modern educational tools and platforms. \nTraining Objectives \n\nTo introduce fundamental principles of robotics and engineering design\nTo provide hands-on experience with the Avishkaar Pro Robotic Kit\nTo develop skills in coding\, motion logic\, and automation\nTo explore real-time sensor integration and data-driven control\nTo introduce practical applications of AI and machine learning in robotics\n\nProgram Summary \nDay 1: Orientation and Basic Robotics Setup \nThe training began with an introduction to Avishkaar’s tools and platforms. Participants assembled a basic 2-wheel motor-driven robotic boat and explored different control methods via mobile applications and remote hardware. \nDay 2: Programming & Motion Control \nParticipants constructed a motion-based robotic model and programmed it to simulate mechanical functions. This session focused on the fundamentals of logic building and automated task execution. \nDay 3: Mechanical Systems and Object Handling \nThe focus shifted to building a 4-wheel drive robotic crane equipped with a pick-and-place mechanism. Coding exercises allowed the robot to perform controlled object handling tasks. \nDay 4: Sensor Interfacing and Applications \nVarious sensors were introduced\, including touch\, infrared (IR)\, sound\, and ultrasonic sensors. Participants practiced integrating these components to enable interactive and responsive behaviours in robotic systems. \nDay 5: Advanced Sensor Projects \nHands-on projects involved ultrasonic sensors for distance measurement and obstacle avoidance\, as well as color sensors for object identification and categorization. Participants learned how sensors influence robotics functionality and accuracy. \nDay 6: Artificial Intelligence Integration \nThe final session introduced AI and machine learning applications in robotics. Participants developed AI-based projects such as gesture-controlled and speech-recognition robotic systems\, showcasing real-time interaction between software intelligence and hardware response. \nOutcome and Impact \nThe training program provided a comprehensive foundation in modern robotics\, with a focus on real-world applications\, smart systems\, and innovation. DESCRIPTION:On 18th January 2025\, 10 brilliant students from government schools in Noida (UPS Nangla Charandas\, JHS Gejha\, Composite School\, Bhuda) along with our mentors had the incredible opportunity to attend the National Science Drama Festival 2025 as part of the audience at the National Science Centre\, Delhi! 🎭✨ \nThis was more than just an event—it was a celebration of science\, drama\, and creativity. Our students had the chance to witness stunning performances by teams from all over India\, blending art and science through thought-provoking dramas. The teams demonstrated various plays focusing on Sustainability\, Climate Change\, AI\, and other critical issues that spark change and awareness. 🎬🌍 \nThe event was graced by the presence of Mr. Chittaranjan Tripathy\, Director of the National School of Drama\, Delhi\, along with other distinguished guests from various esteemed institutions. We also had the privilege of meeting the Mr. Rajdeep Verma\, senior official of the National Science Museum\, adding to the experience! \nBut the adventure didn’t stop there! The students also explored interactive exhibits\, played educational games\, and discovered the latest advancements in science. \nOne of the most exciting moments was when the students participated in the written quiz organized by IP4Kids\, a creative challenge that sparked their imagination and provided valuable insights into intellectual property. \nThis experience has sparked curiosity\, creativity\, and a passion for learning in our future leaders.
