SUMMARY:WRO Regional Rounds 2025: A Milestone for AADHAAR’s Young Innovators
DESCRIPTION:In a groundbreaking moment for inclusive STE(A)M education\, students mentored by AADHAAR Association\, in collaboration with SRF Foundation and with steadfast support from Capgemini\, proudly represented their schools and communities at the World Robot Olympiad (WRO) 2025 Regional Rounds. \nThese were not students from elite institutions or private academies. For the first time ever\, teams comprising students from government schools stepped onto a national platform traditionally dominated by privileged institutions — and they didn’t just participate; they made their presence felt. \nUnder the guidance of AADHAAR Association and SRF Foundation\, and after months of hands-on training at the STE(A)M Lab\, Capgemini Center of Excellence in Skilling\, NSEZ these young minds developed a real-world solution that impressed judges and audiences alike: \nAI-Powered Robotic Waste Management and Sorting System — a practical\, scalable innovation aimed at addressing one of the world’s most urgent environmental challenges. \nAchievements Beyond the Scoreboard \nWhile only seven teams advanced to the Nationals\, both of our teams secured a position in the Top 10 out of 27 participating teams — a remarkable feat for first-time competitors. \nBut more than rankings\, this journey was about transformation. \nThe True Impact: Confidence\, Voice\, and Vision \nFor many students\, this was their first time presenting on a public stage\, speaking to expert judges\, and defending their work in front of a crowd. What started as a hesitant effort evolved into something extraordinary: \n\nThey found their voice\nThey built confidence\nThey began writing their own stories\n\nWhat we witnessed was the power of opportunity: when young people are trusted\, trained\, and given a platform\, they don’t just participate — they evolve into innovators. \nPartners in Possibility \nThis achievement wouldn’t have been possible without the shared commitment of our partners: \n\nCapgemini — for their unwavering support and belief in grassroots innovation\nSRF Foundation — for their co-leadership in building sustainable education ecosystems\nCapgemini NSEZ STE(A)M Lab — for providing a space where curiosity meets capability\n\nLooking Ahead \nThis is not a conclusion. It is the beginning of a larger movement. \nAt AADHAAR Association\, we believe in the transformative power of education and exposure. These students have now taken their first step into the world of innovation and leadership — and we will continue to walk with them as they reach for new heights.

SUMMARY:Strengthening Ties for Digital Inclusion I Capgemini I SAP I AADHAAR
DESCRIPTION:On 19th August\, AADHAAR had the honor of engaging with a distinguished delegation comprising Ms. Lucie Tauriens\, Global Head of Digital Inclusion at Capgemini; Ms. Gerda Slagter\, SAP Head of CSR Regions; Mr. Anurag Pratap\, Vice President – Digital Inclusion and Sustainability Leader\, Capgemini; and Ms. Sagarika Bose\, Head CSR – India\, SAP. \nThey were accompanied by an enthusiastic Capgemini team — Ms. Dhanashree Page\, Ms. Rimmy Taneja\, Ms. Surbhi Rattan\, and Ms. Monica Datta. \nDuring the visit\, AADHAAR mentors showcased student-led innovations at the STE(A)M Lab\, demonstrating how hands-on STE(A)M learning is inspiring creativity\, problem-solving\, and leadership among students from government schools. The delegation also visited AADHAAR’s Digital Literacy Center\, where they got a glimpse of the work being done to build foundational digital skills in underserved communities. \nLater in the day\, we were privileged to engage in a more in-depth interaction with Lucie Tauriens\, Global Head of Digital Inclusion at Capgemini\, \nWhat started as a round of introductions soon evolved into a rich exchange of stories\, insights\, and shared aspirations. As the AADHAAR team spoke about their grassroots efforts — enabling students in government schools to think critically\, create fearlessly\, and lead confidently through hands-on STE(A)M learning — Lucie listened with intent and warmth. \nShe also shared Capgemini’s global mission to foster inclusive and sustainable futures\, a vision that deeply resonates with the heart of our work. \nLucie’s thoughtful engagement reminded us that impact is not just created through programs\, but through people\, shared purpose\, and meaningful partnerships. \nThank you\, Ms. Lucie and Ms. Gerda for your warmth\, insight\, and encouragement. We are excited to continue this journey together — working to ensure every child has the opportunity to learn\, lead\, and thrive.
