Dharam Singh Chauhan is one of the first members of AADHAAR, trying to establish organization’s interventions in Uttarakhand. Masters in Economics and coming from the village background, Dharam Singh has a sound understanding of village dynamics and emerging needs of the communities living in the mountains. Since 2011, he has provided his services to AADHAAR towards beneficiary identification, mobilization drives, implementing agriculture based livelihoods initiatives in Devprayag region and also successfully completing a water conservation project supported by Sir Dorabji Tata Trust. Dharam Singh currently is President of Mahar Jal Trust Committee, implementing springshed project in Mahar springshed and is responsible for overall field operations and finances of the committee.
