On July 8, 2025, Aadhaar Association organized a POCSO Awareness Training Session at the Capgemini Center of Excellence in Skilling, Noida, in collaboration with the Martha Farrell Foundation.
The session brought together 33 participants — including Aadhaar mentors and government school teachers from Noida and Delhi — to deepen their understanding of child sexual abuse, early warning signs, and legal reporting under the POCSO Act, 2012.
Participants openly shared their fears and expectations at the start of the session — concerns about reporting, facing backlash, and addressing such sensitive topics. By the end, many expressed feeling clearer, more confident, and equipped to respond appropriately and sensitively.
Led by expert facilitators Ms. Samiksha Jha and Ms. Samya Siddiqui, the training included real-life case discussions and practical tools to help create safer, more supportive school environments.
At Aadhaar, we believe prevention begins with awareness — and empowered educators are key to child protection.
